About Michael<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michael Aron has built a career at the intersection of performance, design, and technology. Actor, race champion, agency founder, brand builder. He learns how a thing works from the inside, then makes it better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He started as a television actor in San Francisco before moving to Los Angeles, with roles on Star Trek<\/a>: The Next Generation, Midnight Caller, and China Beach, a part in Star Wars: Rebel Assault II, and a series regular spot on the Fox teen drama Tribes. In the mid-1990s he walked away from Hollywood to find out what else he could do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The answer was a lot. He joined the Fast by Ferracci Ducati race team as Senior Art Director and doubled as its data acquisition engineer, designing the brand and reading the telemetry. He raced too, and won a regional road racing championship on a 125cc Grand Prix bike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1998 he founded Mojotown Multimedia, one of the first virtual agencies, and in 2000 helped launch Hotwire.com at the height of the dot-com boom. He then took Mojotown full time and ran it for more than sixteen years, launching digital brands for clients from Hotwire to Hickory Farms. The original Mojotown site became a case study at Indiana State University for its use of narrative and metaphor in digital design, and MSNBC recognized his work for excellence in e-commerce design. Along the way he launched Mojotown Motorcycle Gear, the performance hydration brand RaceFuelZ, and The Mojotown Project, a California 501(c)(3) that gave marketing and creative services to nonprofits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Roche, as a brand manager on the Global Marketing Team, Michael built a preview center for pathologists that turned Roche’s tissue staining technology into a physical and digital asset, including an online stain library for marketing. He launched Frontify brand portals and a front-end design system so global teams worked from one set of standards, with layouts cleared by compliance in advance so sales and marketing could produce collateral fast. He rebuilt internal marketing and training platforms into scalable digital systems, art directed agencies and 3D model production, produced showroom experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2022 Michael founded Michael Aron Design, a creative lab built around AI-driven development. Platforms that used to take months to launch now ship in days to weeks, depending on complexity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flagship is That One Actor<\/a>, a platform that lets actors launch a professional website fast, with self-tape tools built right in. A lot of working talent still doesn’t have a site, and the same platform works just as well for casting directors. For T. Hasegawa U.S.A., he built an owned image gallery platform alongside a trade show booth design. He’s developing a proprietary web development tool, first deployed on casaavra.com, that gives clients real control over their own sites. For Motorsport Exotica he built Pit Wall, a suite of bespoke apps for the motorsport industry. And for film and television, he’s developing a digital storyboard tool for directors and storytellers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024 he came back to Los Angeles for unfinished business in film and television (take a look<\/a>). This time he brings decades of real-world experience and a career that lets him create on his own terms.
